The Madison Sail and Power Squadron is located in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin, on the shores of our
magnificent Yahara Chain of Lakes, about 75 miles west of Milwaukee and about a 2 1/2 hour drive NW of Chicago
Our members sail the waters of Lake Mendota, Lake Monona, Lake Waubesa, Lake Wingra, Lake Kegonsa
– in cruisers, sail boats, kayaks, PWCs, motor yachts and canoes.

If you are a boating enthusiast, or want to be, this is the organization for you.

Take a boating course for both new and experienced boaters.

Get a vessel safety check - This free safety check helps ensure fun-filled outings on your boat.

Become a member Participate in educational and social activities, both on-the-water and ashore, throughout the year.  

 Bridge Meeting June 12, 6:30pm at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, 6205 University Ave, Madison WI 53705. All members are welcome to attend, we will meet at 5:30pm at Middleton Sport Bowl for dinner before meeting..

May 25-27 - Huge garage sale for the squadron at Kris' Custom Sewing, 3956 Hoepker Road.  There will be marine parts and charts, books about boating (especially sailing) and numerous miscellaneous other items.  If you have items you wish to donate to the sale, you may drop them off at Kris' until the weeked or prior to the sale, please price each item and indicate whether the item is a donation or consignment for which you wish to receive money.  Anyone interested in bringing items to sell, please contact Kris Stone at 235-9267 or kriscustomsewing@sbcglobal.net

 

MAY 30, June 6, June 13, June 20 and June 27- ABC Boating Safety Class from 6:30-8:30pm.  To register contact the Waunakee Village Center at 608.850.5992, cost of $40..Any student under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to insure successful completion of the class.  This class requires advanced reading skills and study habits.

 

June 10 - Take a Stake in our Waters will be held from 8:30am through noon at Shelter #1, Mendota County Park, Middleton.  We have been asked to rake the beach and pick up litter; you should bring you own tools (rake, gardening tools, etc.) and gloves.  Pastries and coffee or juice will be available.  Contact Jan Norman at 837-0132 if you have questions.

July 14-16 - District 10 Summer Rendezvous - Fox River Locks Run - registration available on D10 site....
