The Madison Sail and Power Squadron is located in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin, on the shores of our
magnificent Yahara Chain of Lakes, about 75 miles west of Milwaukee and about a 2 1/2 hour drive NW of Chicago
Our members sail the waters of Lake Mendota, Lake Monona, Lake Waubesa
– in cruisers, sail boats, kayaks, PWCs, motor yachts and canoes.

If you are a boating enthusiast, or want to be, this is the organization for you.

Take a boating course For both new and experienced boaters.

Get a vessel safety check - This free safety check helps ensure fun-filled outings on your boat.

Become a member Participate in educational and social activities, both on-the-water and ashore, throughout the year. 

MSPS will offer the following classes in the next year.
Seamanship – Monday evenings September 13 – November 15, 2010
Weather – November 2 – December 14, 2010 plus January 4 – March 1, 2011 (one course with a break over the holidays)
Piloting – March 3 – May 5, 2011
